This study aims to determine the performance of employees before and after the implementation of the SKP-based work performance appraisal policy (Employee Work Target) at the Muara Teweh City Regional Secretariat and to determine the differences in the performance of the Muara Teweh City Regional Secretariat civil servants before and after the SKP-based PNS work performance appraisal policy. .
This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the data obtained from the sample of the research population were analyzed according to the statistical method used and then interpreted. In this study the population was all Civil Servants in the Muara Teweh City Regional Secretariat in 2021, totaling 221 civil servants. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling, which is a sampling method by choosing who happens to be there. The technique used to collect data in this research is in the form of questionnaires and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that (1) Prior to the application of the SKP, respondents' responses to the Employee Work Target indicator obtained an average score index of 28.01. Based on the score index category based on the three box method, the average score is at a moderate score. (2) After the implementation of the SKP, the average variable answer score index was 38.45. Based on the score index category based on the three box method, the average score is at a high score. (3) There is a difference in employee performance before and after the implementation of the SKP-based employee performance appraisal policy at the Muara Teweh City Regional Secretariat as evidenced by the t value of 11.375 with sig 0.000 because sig <0.005 it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that the average respondents' answers before and after the SKP are not the same (different).
